Setting up Seed Sniffer

Seed Sniffer is a small tool that reads the map seed of your current server from the game log while you play and sends it to this browser. There’s nothing to configure. Download it, run it, and it pairs with this browser automatically.

  1. 01

    Download

Get Seed Sniffer with the button below. The download already carries the pairing code that links it to this browser.

  2. 02

    Run it

Run the downloaded file. Because it is an unsigned script, Windows or your antivirus may show a warning; choose “More info → Run anyway,” or Keep, to continue.

  3. 03

    It pairs automatically

Once running, it links to this browser right away using the code baked into the download. The tool shows its link status, and the sidebar indicator switches to “Receiving.”

  4. 04

Join a game → the map appears

When you join an SCP:SL server, its seed is detected and that map opens in this browser on its own. When a new round changes the seed, the map updates to match.

Something not working?

If a warning deleted the file, download again and choose Keep. If nothing is detected, check that you have joined a game and that the browser’s link status reads “Receiving.” An outdated build will prompt you to update.
